How are we different from other health care facilities?

At Emery Chiropractic, instead of following the present "health care system" that studies disease, the "causes" of disease, and treats the symptoms of disease, we have created a different system based and focused on the study of health, what causes health, and how to provide the proper conditions for health to exist.

Instead of a system that teaches patients to ask the wrong questions, Dr. Emery recognizes that doctor means "teacher", and we accept the responsibility of education and guiding patients through the sometimes difficult process of learning the right questions. Only then, are they able to obtain the right answers and/or know when their questions are being properly addressed.

Instead of a system that makes patients dependent on authority figures, our system is designed to turn that authority back over to the only person ultimately responsible for the patient's well being. That is the patient.
